BLACK SHEEP

Short Film

Directed by Ed Perkins
Produced by Simon Chin for Lightbox Entertainment [commissioned by The Guardian]

SET BUILD

BLACK SHEEP follows the true story of a young black boy who at age 10 was moved by his family out of London after the brutal killing of Damilola Taylor, the young local boy from Nigeria.  It was an incident that shook the nation and his parents alike who, fearing for their own son’s life, decided it would be best to relocate - only to find themselves in a small town run by a white racist gang.
A story of racial abuse, a search for identity, and the lengths someone would go to in the name of survival.
